Home prices in Canada’s largest city posted their biggest monthly drop in at least 17 years in July and sales plunged as government efforts to cool the market and the near-collapse of a mortgage lender made buyers leery. The benchmark property price, which tracks a typical property over time, dropped 4.6 per cent to $773,000 […]
Recently I found myself sharing the stage with this e-commerce expert that I respect a lot. I had just finished writing my Shopify review and was keen to know his preferred e-commerce platform. He was quite vocal in proclaiming that, “the only reason people do not use WordPress for e-commerce is that there is no one hard selling it.”
So let us talk about using WordPress for e-commerce.
The foremost reason to use WordPress is that it is WordPress.
Just look at these impressive statistics:
Sixty million websites cannot be wrong, right? Jokes apart, with the right add-ons, i.e., themes and plugins, WordPress can be a robust e-commerce platform.
Jim Lund, aka “Ugly” was a cop in Cadillac, MI. For over 20 years, he “moonlighted” for an area fly shop as a guide on the Pere Marquette, Manistee, and Au Sable rivers running a Fishrite drift boat. When he retired, he moved to Arkansas and guided on the White River in Arkansas for a while. Fate was on our side and he walked in to our shop in 2000 and we started talking drift boats. Jim took us under his wing and taught us everything he could about drift boat fly fishing.
We’ve offered the delivery and loading of our products for many years, but in late 2013 we began offering a helpful portal for those that choose our services: real time delivery and loading information accessible 24/7.
If you’ve been in the roofing industry for any amount of time, it is known that scheduling the delivery of tile and loading it to the roof is not an easy task. Many uncontrollable factors (read traffic and weather!!) greatly affect even the best intended “on time” delivery. We know that taking time out of your busy schedule to make a phone call to check on your deliveries is not something you have time for.
With our complementary tracking portal, the guesswork is removed from your delivery and loadsrequests. This portal improves our means of communication with you, providing you with current information about your delivery and load status at a time that is convenient for you.

Do you need a new roof? It can sometimes be tough to determine just why your inspector says a new roof is necessary, but there are a few simple signs to look for.
We do not recommend that you inspect your roof by walking across it . Instead, start by taking a pair of binoculars with you into the yard, find a spot without trees or other buildings blocking your view and look for any of the following signs: • Blistered, curled or split shingles . • Loose or missing shingles or tiles . • Broken or loose shingles at the ridge lines and hip lines. • Loose nails.
